About The Strategist
Strategy is the discipline of making clear choices under pressure.
The Architecture of Orchestrated Growth. With over 20 years of experience spanning agency leadership and senior in-house roles, I have navigated the strategic complexities of Indonesia’s most prominent local and multinational brands.
Most professionals operate in a single lane—strategy, creative, digital, or research. My value lies in seeing the whole system. I do not believe in ideas isolated from business realities. Campaigns may drive temporary awareness, but only disciplined strategic clarity drives sustained commercial growth.
In many organizations, growth stalls not because teams lack effort or capability, but because the underlying strategy is unclear, insights are weak, or leadership direction is fragmented.
My role is to serve as a thinking partner to the C-suite. Whether leading the repositioning of a legacy financial institution or bridging the gap between digital transformation and commercial viability, I ensure that high-level executive intent is seamlessly translated into cross-functional execution.
Strategic Judgment in the Age of Technology
Technology is changing what is possible in strategy.
AI can accelerate analysis. Data can reveal patterns. Behavioral models can help us understand why people act. Simulation can explore possibilities before committing resources. Digital systems can make knowledge and decision-making more persistent and reusable.
But technology does not determine which problem matters.
That still requires context, experience, and strategic judgment.
My approach is therefore deliberately strategy-first: understand the business problem, make the right strategic choice, then apply technology where it creates meaningful leverage.
Technology does not replace strategic judgment. It expands what strategic judgment can do.
Experience Framing
- Advisory-Level Thinking Diagnosing root problems and reframing business narratives without relying on generic global playbooks.
- Regulated Industry Mastery Proven capability to drive innovation and unlock new audience segments while navigating the strict compliance frameworks of banking and insurance.
- Execution Realism Hands-on leadership experience ensuring strategies are not just intellectually sound on slides, but operationally workable in the real world.
Core Capabilities
Turning Clarity into Commercial Capability.
High-stakes growth requires more than ideas. It requires the ability to diagnose the real problem, make clear strategic choices, align execution, and increasingly, build the systems that make those choices usable.
My work combines strategic judgment, commercial experience, and technology where it creates practical leverage.
01 /
Growth Barrier Diagnosis
Find the Real Constraint.
Growth problems are often misdiagnosed.
What appears to be a communication problem may actually be a positioning problem. What looks like weak execution may be caused by customer friction, organizational misalignment, poor prioritization, or an unclear commercial model.
I work with leadership teams to identify the underlying constraint before committing resources to the solution.
02 /
Strategic Positioning & Growth Architecture
Make the Strategic Choice.
Once the real problem is clear, the next challenge is deciding where to focus.
I help businesses define the strategic choices that can unlock growth—across positioning, customers, value propositions, market opportunities, behavioral change, commercial narratives, and growth priorities.
The goal is not more strategy.
It is a clearer architecture for action.
03 /
Strategy-to-Execution Orchestration
Make Strategy Work in the Real World.
Strategy only creates value when organizations can execute it.
I work across leadership intent, team capabilities, channels, commercial priorities, and operational realities to ensure strategic choices translate into coordinated action.
This requires more than alignment.
It requires execution realism.

Technology-Enabled Business Systems
Turn Strategic Thinking into Practical Capability.
Some business problems should not be solved repeatedly through presentations, spreadsheets, or individual memory.
Where appropriate, I use technology to turn strategic thinking, knowledge, customer intelligence, and decision logic into practical systems businesses can repeatedly use.
This can include intelligence platforms, behavioral simulations, customer growth systems, revenue execution tools, and focused digital products.
The objective is not technology for its own sake.
It is to make the right strategy more usable, persistent, and scalable.
Diagnose → Decide → Orchestrate → Build
Diagnose
Understand the real business problem.
Decide
Define the strategic choice.
Orchestrate
Translate the choice into coordinated execution.
Build
Use technology where it can turn the solution into a repeatable capability.
The business problem determines the solution—not the other way around.
Systems
Strategy Should Become Usable.
Some business problems need more than a recommendation.
I build systems that turn strategic thinking, organizational knowledge, customer intelligence, and behavioral understanding into practical business capabilities.
Strategy defines what matters. Technology makes more of it possible.
From Recommendation to Capability.
A recommendation can help solve a decision once. A well-designed system can help an organization make better decisions repeatedly.
That is where I increasingly apply technology—not as the starting point, but where it can make strategic thinking more useful, persistent, and scalable.
Strategic Systems
Intelligence and Execution Built Around Business Problems.
These systems started with recurring business questions: how organizations use what they know, how businesses understand behavior, where customer growth can come from, and how commercial opportunities become execution.
Technology turns those questions into capabilities businesses can repeatedly use.
Organizational Intelligence
Company Brain
The Problem
Organizations accumulate valuable knowledge across research, reports, proposals, projects, and people. Much of it remains fragmented, difficult to retrieve, and vulnerable to being lost.
The Strategic Idea
What an organization learns should compound.
The System
Company Brain transforms scattered organizational knowledge into structured, reusable intelligence that can support future strategy, decisions, and problem-solving.
The Capability
Know what your organization knows.
Behavior Intelligence & Simulation
BehaviorLab
The Problem
Businesses can observe what customers do. Understanding why they act—and how their behavior might change—is much harder.
The Strategic Idea
Growth ultimately requires behavior to change.
The System
BehaviorLab turns behavioral evidence into structured drivers and simulations, helping teams understand what supports or constrains an outcome and explore how different interventions may influence behavior.
The Capability
Understand behavior before trying to change it.
Customer Growth CRM
Uplift
The Problem
Businesses invest heavily in acquiring customers while significant growth potential often remains hidden inside the customers they already have.
The Strategic Idea
Customer relationships should become more valuable over time.
The System
Uplift turns customer data into a practical growth system—helping businesses identify growth opportunities, influence customer behavior, and move customers toward higher-value relationships.
The Capability
Grow more revenue from the customers you already have.
Revenue Execution System
SIAPP
The Problem
Revenue opportunities are often lost not because demand is absent, but because follow-ups are missed, deals stall, managers intervene too late, and high-potential accounts receive insufficient attention.
The Strategic Idea
Reduce Leakage. Pursue Potential.
The System
SIAPP turns sales activity into a structured revenue execution system—helping salespeople protect opportunities while giving managers visibility into where revenue is at risk and where additional potential should be pursued.
The Capability
Protect revenue. Pursue potential. Improve execution.
Four Different Questions. One Principle.
Company Brain
What does the organization know?
Organizational Intelligence
BehaviorLab
Why do people behave this way?
Behavior Intelligence
Uplift
Where can we create more customer value?
Customer Growth
SIAPP
How do we turn opportunity into execution?
Revenue Execution
Knowledge → Understanding → Opportunity → Execution
Each system addresses a different business problem. What connects them is a common principle: turn information and strategic thinking into intelligence that can be used.
Applied Digital Products
Strategy Applied to Specific Customer Problems.
Not every opportunity requires a broad strategic system. I also develop focused digital products around specific customer and market problems—taking an idea from problem definition through product strategy into a working digital experience.
Digital Pet Passport & Everyday Care
Pawbook
The Problem
Pet information, care records, and everyday responsibilities are often scattered across memory, messages, documents, and different service providers.
The Strategic Idea
Pet care should be easier to remember, manage, and act on.
The Product
Pawbook is a digital pet passport that brings pet identity, care records, reminders, and useful information into one simple mobile experience.
The Capability
Keep everyday pet care organized and actionable.
Strategy First. Technology Where It Creates Leverage.
I don’t start with a technology and look for somewhere to apply it.
I start with the business problem, determine what capability is needed, and use the appropriate combination of strategy, data, AI, behavioral models, automation, and software to build it.
Technology is not the strategy.
It is a way to make the right strategy more useful.
Have a Problem That Needs More Than a Recommendation?
Some problems need strategic clarity. Others may benefit from a system that makes the solution repeatable. Often, the opportunity sits somewhere between the two.

National Bank (BTN)
The Impact
Top 5 Brand Awareness
(Nielsen Ranking)
+21.5% CASA Growth
Sustained momentum (2021)
A market leader in mortgages, but perceived as an "old bank," heavily limiting relevance among younger, productive segments entering their peak earning years.
Reframed the brand from a transactional lender to a life partner, balancing the millennial YOLO mindset with the necessity of future milestones. Replaced short-term transaction focus with a long-term adoption narrative.
Modernizing Islamic Banking
Syariah Bank (BSI)
The Impact
Rp 500B Pipeline
Mortgages generated in Q1
5.52M Accounts
Hajj savings portfolio scaling to Rp 14.5T
A narrow, religious-centric positioning limited the bank's adoption among modern, rationalist, and progressive younger audiences.
Introduced the "Live the Balance" narrative, aligning modern ambition with spiritual life. This effectively unlocked a massive untapped demographic, with 70% of adoption coming from the 21–35 segment.
Unlocking Demand via Simplification
Life Insurance (Prudential)
The Impact
19.5K Qualified Leads
Generated within 3 months
+70% Growth
In traditional product categories (IDR 17B in sales)
High product awareness, but low conversion due to the perceived complexity and psychological trade-offs of life insurance for first-time buyers (the sandwich generation).
Applied a "life-hack" twist to reposition protection as a simple, highly accessible step, reducing cognitive friction and aligning the marketing narrative directly with product pricing structures and sales channel readiness.
